In Chicago, there exists a large disparity between treatment and survivorship. Since 2011, breast cancer mortality is 44 percent higher in African-American women compared to Caucasian women and African-American and Latina women are more likely to be diagnosed with last-stage cancer than Caucasian women. We ask your support to help us to achieve improving breast healthcare for all women in Chicagoland.

For the 20th Anniversary event, Komen Chicago will celebrate individuals who have BRIDGED THE GAP with the Chicagoland community.
